Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for various scientific posts under different institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
1. Post Name: Deputy Director General (Horticulture)
No. of Post : One Post
Qualifications: A Doctoral degree in any branch of Horticultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences. An eminent scientist / teacher having at least 8 years experience in the grade of Principal Scientist (‘16400-22400) or in an equivalent position out of which 3 years experience should be in Research Management Position or in an equivalent position or at least 6 years experience in any of the following position:- (a) Heads of Divisions at ICAR Institutes
2. Post Name : Assistant Director General (Horticulture-I), ICAR Hqrs., Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan-II, New Delhi
No. of Post : One Post
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Horticulture or allied sciences including relevant basic sciences.
ii) At least 5 years experience as a Scientist in the pay scale of Rs. 16400-20000 (pre-revised) or in an equivalent position. OR An eminent Scientist having proven record of scientific contribution working in a reputed organization / Institute having at least 18 years experience in the relevant subject. (iii) Evidence of contributions to research / teaching / extension education as supported by published work /innovations.
3. Post Name : Assistant Director General (Agronomy & Agro-forestry), ICAR
Hqrs., Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi
No. of Post : One Post
Qualifications : Doctoral degree in Agronomy/Agro-forestry/Forestry/Botany including relevant basic sciences. (ii) & (iii) As in item no. 2 above.
Desirable: Specialization in the field of agronomy and agro-forestry.
4. Post Name : Director
No. of Post: One Post
Qualifications : Doctoral degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Science/ Fisheries Science including relevant basic sciences. (ii) & (iii) As in item no. 2 above.
Desirable: Specialization/ experience in Coastal Eco-system Management/Research/Extension in Agricultural Science/Animal Science/ Horticultural Science/Fisheries Science.
