ITBP -  Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens for filling up 10 vacancies of SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) Group „B‟ Non-Gazetted on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police Force.

Pay Scale: PB-II, Rs.9300–34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- per month.
Qualifications : Matriculation or equivalent with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS : -
i) Description :- Minimum height for all candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes.
Height : 162.5 Cms
Chest (minimum 5 Cm expansion): Un-expanded 77 cmc, Expanded 82 cms

ii) Description :- Minimum height for candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himanchal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
Height : 165 cms
Chest (minimum 5 Cm expansion): Un-expanded 80 cmc, Expanded 85 cms

Medical Standards : Vision: Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without correction (i.e. without wearing glasses). Must pass high grade colour vision test.

Application Fee : The candidates belonging to General and OBC categories will be required to pay Rs 50/- .No fee will be charged from SC/ST & Ex-servicemen candidates.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications & Admit Cards (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure-„I‟ and Annexure-„II‟. The application should be either type written or neatly hand written with ink/ball pen on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application/admit card (duly attested by Gazetted Officer) along with application fee, enclosures as mentioned in para-10 & 11 to the Dy. Inspector General & Chief Engineer, Directorate General, ITB Police, Block-2, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003., on or before the prescribed last date i.e. 29/02/2012.
